Today's Biggest {Distraction} Learning Opportunity

This photo doesn't do it justice, but towards the middle you can see 2 red-tailed hawks in the trees. {They are super small in this photograph.  If you can't see them, ask your first grader.  It was all they were interested today!} The birds kept moving around from tree to tree. Some of the students were even wondering if they were watching us learn! We are so lucky to be able to enjoy nature from our classroom window.
