Math Time Collaboration

The children have been learning all about two-digit numbers and explaining them in a variety of ways.  Today we worked collaboratively in groups of three to show our understanding of two-digit numbers using the iPad app Piccollage.  You will see the children creating these pieces together.  Tonight each family will receive an email at home of the work your child did with their small group.

Along with growing our math skills, the children continued to learn how to communicate and cooperate with a small group.  This is not always an easy skill to master, and everyone did such a great job listening to one another and taking turns.  I'm very proud of them today!
