It's a Matter Baby!

In science, we have learned that everything is made of matter.  Matter baby arrived to our classroom today, looking absolutely adorable.  Matter baby is a frozen friend who is teaching us about how matter can change.  Captians are quotes from the children.

"Matter Baby is made of ice.  Matter Baby is cold.  Matter Baby might melt."

"Matter Baby is melting.  Water is matter.  Matter Baby is now a solid and a liquid."

Overheard when children were looking at our baby earlier in the day, "What's the matter, Matter Baby?"
