Butterfly Release

This morning, we went outside to release our butterflies.  Six beautiful painted ladies are now enjoying the playground and woods habitat.  A few children had an opportunity to hold the butterflies.  Everyone enjoyed seeing them fly away into nature.

They were really active this morning!

Hard to see, but one is sitting on this little guy's sweatshirt, right next to his swoosh.

This one landed in the grass.

It was on her finger, but quickly flew away!

There he is!

How exciting to hold a butterfly!
