Collections

Thank you first graders for bringing a collection you own into class to share with your classmates!  We have spent some time looking at our collections and ranking our collections by giving different items a blue ribbon for "best in show," "fastest," "cutest," or any other type of awards the children could think of.  Please spend some time this weekend talking with your child their thinking about why the items who received a ribbon received one.  Next week, the children will be writing about the items who received ribbons and talking about it one more time will help strengthen their stories.  Thank you!
