Weekly Update

This past week has just been a flurry of great learning!  And a lot of fun playing outdoors in the snow flurries!  Please remember to pack shoes for your child each day, as they are wearing boots to school.  We will be going outside each day unless it is below zero, so please send your child in appropriate clothing.

Last week, we participated in a global movement called "An Hour of Code." We did a no-tech hour of code where we created a board game and wrote the code for our character to move along the path.  Everyone was so engaged in this learning!  It was so fun to watch.

There's a great new-ish feature in Seesaw that I haven't seen many people use, yet.  Did you know you can leave a voice comment?  The children have really enjoyed listening to their peers comment on their work and I'm sure they would love to hear all of you leave comments, too.  If you have the parent app, just do the following:

See the speech bubble under the words Word Study?  Tap there.

Now look to the right of the "Write a comment..." section.  Click on that little red circle button with the microphone!  It will walk you through leaving an audio comment!
It's that time of year to start thinking about our winter celebration.  You may send your child's items in any time prior to the 22nd!
