This month, we have been studying insects in science. Today we were excited to watch one of the caterpillars change into a chrysalis. The first graders kept a close eye on the rest, hoping that some of the other caterpillars would begin to change, too. Below is a slideshow of our caterpillars over the past couple of weeks, along with journal samples of what the first graders have observed.
