Word Study

Over the past couple of weeks, the class has been learning the short a word families.  We completed a word sort where the students had to sort words into the correct word family.  Then they match the word with the a picture.  Being able to match the word with the picture helps me to know if they are reading the words. This first grader has a great start to his work!
