Brrrr...

I hope everyone had a safe, warm start to their week.  The kids are anxious to play outside again.  Please make sure you are sending all of their outwear each day.  

In class, we have been learning about synonyms.  Here's the poem that helps us remember what a synonym is:

We are going to jump into our new reading and writing units titled "Exploring Non-Fiction".  We will be studying how authors write non-fiction stories, as well as starting our own non-fiction chapter books.  

In math, we have started teaching Unit 6.  We are digging deeper into place value in this unit.  

We will have our first spelling test of the new year this Friday.
