Partner Reading

This week the students were introduced to their reading partner.  Children read and talk about books with their reading partners.

We learned about EEKK!  To be able to read well with your partner, this is how we sit - Elbow to Elbow, Knee to Knee.  Or EEKK for fun!  When the book is in the middle both children can see the story and hear the other person talking.  Look at the wonderful job these kids are already doing with their reading partners.
