Hooray! They did it! My socks are off and now the students have earned their first reward. They decided they would like to bring stuffed animals to school tomorrow. Here are the rules that should be reviewed with their stuffed friends...
1) All stuffed animals must fit into the child's backpack.
2) First graders should talk to their stuffed friend about the first grade rules before coming to school.
3) All animals will need to stay in the classroom during recess, lunch, and specials.
The children are so excited to have earned this privilege so quickly. Tomorrow my chart will be full of socks again. The kids will be able to "knock my socks off" by showing friendship. Friendship is the character trait Woodview is working on this month.
