China

In Social Studies we have learned that different people have different cultures.  Mrs. Kempfer shared many Chinese artifacts with us.  We even got to try some on!  Thank you, Mrs. Kempfer!  Thank you to one of our first graders who can read some Chiense characters.  He told us a couple of words he recognized in an old Chinese newspaper.

Part of the Chinese culture is eating with chopsticks.  We gave it a try with some popcorn.  It was tricky, but we had fun eating our popcorn!
